Flaxseeds are a real superfood for women. These small seeds are known for their health and beauty benefits. The nutrients found in flaxseeds include lignans which help reduce breast pain and hormonal acne as well as clear the body of excess hormones.

Moreover, flaxseeds are rich in fibre, magnesium and vitamin B1 which help to minimise period cramps and PMS symptoms as well as improve digestion and sleep quality.
These seeds are also the richest source of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids in the world. Healthy fats are essential for optimal hormone production and regulation. They are involved in the synthesis of hormones and help maintain the balance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory substances in the body as well as and lower the risk of many chronic diseases.

Pumpkin seeds are packed with a variety of nutrients, ranging from magnesium, zinc, phytoestrogens and healthy fats to other beneficial compounds that have been shown to provide numerous health and beauty benefits.

These seeds are one of the best natural sources of magnesium, which plays a critical role for brain function and mood - its healthy levels help reduce PMS symptoms, prevent migraines and improve sleep quality. They also contain beta-sitosterol which inhibits the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT, which can help to reduce PCOS-related hair loss.

Maca naturally supports the first half of the menstrual cycle (days 1 -14).

It is loaded with nutrients, including amino acids, fatty acids, vitamin B6, calcium, iron, magnesium and polyphenols which are essential for for optimal hormone production and regulation. Through plant sterols, maca stimulates the endocrine system, helping to maintain balanced oestrogen and progesterone levels.
Moreover, maca is effective at improving the libido, mood, stamina and energy levels.

Cacao butter is a natural fat extracted from cacao beans. It gives our bars the creamy, smooth and melt-in-the-mouth consistency.

Cacao butter is full of healthy fatty acids, such as oleic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid.

We, women, need a dietary fat to maintain a healthy hormone balance. Without enough fat in the diet, our bodies don't work properly, and all our systems such as endocrine and immune system are affected. Read more here.
Cacao butter is also incredible for a vibrant and healthy-looking skin.

The polyphenol antioxidants, phytochemicals and vitamin E contained in cocoa butter have been proven to improve blood flow to the skin, slow skin aging, soothe sensitive skin and to protect it from free-radical damage.

Chia seeds contain several essential vitamins and minerals that support overall health, including hormone health. These include iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin E. These nutrients play a role in hormone synthesis, metabolism, and the proper functioning of the endocrine system.

Chia seeds are also an excellent plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids, which play a crucial role in hormone production and regulation.

They are involved in the synthesis of hormones and help maintain the balance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory substances in the body, which can support overall hormonal balance.
Moreover, chia seeds have a unique property of forming a gel-like substance when soaked in liquid, which can help slow down the absorption of carbohydrates and stabilise blood sugar levels. Balanced blood sugar levels are crucial for hormone regulation, as imbalances can impact the production and balance of various hormones in the body.

These seeds are also rich in dietary fiber, which aids in digestion and supports healthy gut function. Adequate fiber intake can help regulate estrogen levels by promoting regular bowel movements and facilitating the elimination of excess estrogen from the body.

We sweeten our bars with date powder – dried dates ground into a granulated form. This natural sweetener imparts a delightful caramel flavor with a subtle fruity aroma.

Date powder remains unprocessed, avoiding the refining and bleaching processes associated with refined sugar. Consequently, it retains its natural nutrients, including potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and vitamin B6, as well as its fiber content.

Dates are particularly rich in dietary fiber, which is vital for promoting digestive health and regulating blood sugar levels. Additionally, dates have a significantly lower glycemic index compared to refined sugar. This means they cause a slower and steadier increase in blood sugar levels, making them an excellent choice for individuals who need to manage their blood sugar levels, such as people with diabetes."

These minor adjustments provide a smoother flow and improve clarity while maintaining the essential information you want to convey.
